Tanzania embraces you to experience all that it has to offer. Although you will be landing in an international airport, you will travel through some cities that might be far more modern than you expected and others that might be very crowded, with rutted roads and buildings in need of repair. It is all gorgeous and awakens the senses that have been dormant from our fast, technologically charged, complicated lives. You are probably aware of this already but going on safari is not like any other vacation you may have taken. It surprises and delights every second. It captivates you and emotions of wonder and discovery are activated.
Accommodations on a Kotia Safaris can vary from a luxurious resort hotel to a more luxurious campsite. While adjusting to a new time zone, environment, and having the opportunity to simply relax, it’s good to be as prepared as possible. We provide a detailed list of what basics you will need for safari, our Safari Guides are incredibly attentive and eager to plan with you, and, most important, we make sure you stay hydrated during this incredible experience! When you’re on safari you’ll most likely go on two game drives each day: one at dawn and one in the late afternoon that lasts until dusk or you may opt for the full day game drive depending on the time of the year and your game viewing interest. Different animals are active in the early morning and in the evening. Your excursions will include rides in a 4 X4 open top Land Cruiser and to get to further distances you will be in a small 13 -18 seat bush flight.
